Facebook vs. Myspace

The debate rages...Facebook or Myspace. I thought is that Facebook was created with a more, how do I put this delicately, mature audience! Ha! This is my age group. I'm 55 yrs old and absolutely love Facebook. I am now connected daily to my family, both close and far. And, I'm in touch with old friends and able to see into their lives, even though we haven't seen each other for many years. Also, I have new friends that live all around the world. I consider this pretty cool! Myspace on the other hand, seems to be more about pimping your profile and updating your friends status.

I can't imagine my world without my social life on the internet. Some people, have told me to get a life. Funny...at my age, haven't I earned the right to decide how I want to spend my life. Moderation in everything, tho. This can be addicting! So, if you haven't gotten yourself a Facebook or Myspace page, I highly recommend that you do. I don't think you'll regret it.

Electronic Cigarettes, Which One To Choose

Electronic cigarettes are becoming more popular. Smoking is not allowed in public places anymore; at least in Illinois. And yes, I am a smoker. But I'm also tired of the cost and the smell! I have discovered electronic cigarettes. The ones I recommend is Smoke 51. I checked all the different websites, but I really wanted my e-cigarette to look like a real one. And these do. My starter kit was shipped right away. And I'm very impressed with the carrying case. I ordered extra cartridges in menthol. They have a conversion chart that helps you decide which strength nicotine you want.

You have to check this out. Go to

YOUR KIDS AND MYSPACE, etc.

If you have ever wondered how you can see, what other people see, when they are staring at pictures of your children on "myspace"? If you join, you'll be able to check any time you want. And I suggest that you check often. Don't worry about your kids finding out. Do you really think they'd look for you! Since I now have my own "myspace" page, I can browse for anyone. One of my kids has a private profile, but at least I can see what she is putting out there for everyone else to see. Just sign up, and decide if you want to have fun with it or not, but do check on your kids. My daughter's is okay, but some of her friends have very suggestive comments.

It's okay to do this, you are the parent.
